DELL XPS 10 Not Waking from Sleep
Hi All,
I've had my XPS 10 for several months now and love it! One issue, however, is the fact that once the unit goes to sleep, I cannot get it to wake back up. I have it connected to the keyboard unit and when I try to wake it, I press many different keys, press the power button, etc. and nothing will get it to wake. I then have to hold the power button to get the device to shut down and then start back up again.
Any ideas on this??

I also have this problem. If anyone has a solution to this, I would love to hear it. Aside from the random times it decides not to wake back up and I have to restart, I'm loving this tablet!

Sorry I don't have an answer, but I share your pain. I've only had the issue since upgrading to V8.1 though and am considering reverting back to RT (apparently Microsoft have released a patch to do this). Did you upgrade as well?

Yes, I did upgrade. I also did a refresh recently to see if that helped, but I think it still mainly has to do the lid closing action when the tablet has not fully gone in and out of sleep yet. I'm testing if this works, but I'm trying to avoid the closing lid to sleep function and just using the power button, waiting a few seconds to make sure it has gone to sleep, and then closing the tablet. We'll see if it still has this problem.

I upgraded to 8.1 too and still continue to have the problem.

Does anyone know if Dell is still working to address any issues with XPS 10 or have they abandoned it since they dropped RT?

This seems to only be an issue when the Dell XPS 10 Dock / keyboard is used. When trying to bring up the Dell Dock app, it doesn't bring it up if the keyboard is attached. If you bring it up w/o the keyboard, it opens, but asks for the keyboard to be connected. Firmware update for the dock? App Update?
