Does anyone know how I can download a driver for the Hitachi GSA-H21N DVD drive that came with my Dell Dimension E510? I went to the Dell Support web site but had no luck locating one. Thanks,

The optical DVD/CD drive drivers are generic and are included in the Windows operating system.
I was aware of that but I believe the copy on the computer might be corrupted and so I wanted to try a clean outside copy of the driver. (My DVD drive is not reading DVD's - the drive lite blinks for awhile and then goes out without opening the files on the disk.)
Sounds like a failed drive laser, I had the same issue on a DVD drive recently and replacing the drive took care of the issue. DVD drives are cheap, costing $16/20 ea.
