Hello Ibrahim1995,

Please ensure that the power button on the start menu is set to shut down. In case the issue persists, try loading the BIOS to defaults:

  • Restart the computer.
  • Keep tapping F2 at the Dell Logo screen.
  • It takes to the BIOS.
  • Press F9 then Press Enter.
  • Once prompted to save and exit, Press F10 then Press Enter.
  • The computer Restarts.

Please write back with results.

Hello Ibrahim1995,

I would suggest you to update the BIOS to the latest version and check if the issue persist.

**NOTE: Few things to ensure before updating the Bios is, the Ac Adapter should be plugged in and the battery should have minimum of 15% charge. No other external peripherals should be connected to the computer. Please ensure that the Bios update should not be interrupted else it would damage the motherboard.

Hope this helps!

Open an elevated command prompt and type in powercfg -requests

This may help to identify what programs are preventing shutdown if any
