Hi Tomy73,
Your laptop will take any 2.5" drive that supports SATA 2. We generally recommend you perform a clean installation of the operating system onto an SSD.

I will choose a Crucial M500 240GB 2.5-inch Internal SSD and of course as you say a clean OS installation.
