Wireless adapter disappeared from device manager

Greetings,

I have a Dell XPS L502X, and it was working fine, with wireless connection.

Today, I turned it on and I received a message from Intel wireless that "No physical adapter was found".

I use Windows 7 Ultimate.

I tried ipconfig -all and no wireless adapter was listed.

I tried to press the wireless antennae key, but it did nothing.

So, please, can somebody help me?

Thanks in advance!

Hi Octanic,

I would suggest you to update the BIOS and Wireless card on the system and rerun the diagnostics for issue resolution. Please enter your service tag # on the link below and click on ‘Get drivers and downloads’then download the BIOS from BIOS and the wireless card driver from Network section section onto the system and install it.

Please let me know if this helps.

Greetings Ravi

Sorry for the late reply, and thanks for the help.

I did what you have told me, but no success.

I am going to try using a linux distro to check if it is some problem with my windows. I will report it soon.

EDIT: no, it's not... tried ubuntu and nothing. Any clue?

Thanks in advancement
