Hi dualquad,

I’d suggest that you follow the steps mentioned below and check for issue resolution.

  1. Switch off the computer.
  2. Disconnect the AC adapter from the system.
  3. Remove the battery from the computer if it’s connected to the system.
  4. Press and hold down the power button for 15 seconds.
  5. Then connect back all the peripherals and check if the beep codes disappear.

In addition, I would suggest that you run the diagnostics on the computer by following the steps mentioned in the video below and check if there is any issue with the hardware on your system.

Please let me know the findings.

Same issue here and the suggested actions did not help.  Any other solutions?

Beeping might mean too many keys pressed at once.

Turn off computer, unplug charger and battery. Disconnect keyboard cable (check http://downloads.dell.com/manuals/all-products/esuprt_laptop/esuprt_vostro_notebook/vostro-3560_owner's%20manual_en-us.pdf for instructions) and start Windows to see if the problem stopped, you can use any USB keyboard in the meantime.

If the problem stopped then either buy a new keyboard or try to fix yours (but be careful, you may brake it further in the process).
Sometimes pressing faulty keys harder is enough if they are just jammed. If thats not the case than you can start by gently lifting keys to separate them from keyboard, be careful not to brake the snaps, check youtube for video instructions. With keys removed you can examine hinges and rubber cylinders. If you won't spot anything abnormal there, I suppose you'll need someone to check out circuits. At this point it'll probably be safer and cheaper to buy a new or used keyboard.

If without the keyboard the problem persists, then in case of self-scrolling it might be other input device's fault: touchpad or USB/BT mouse, unplug them to verify.
