8 beeps alarm inspiron
dear dell-support,
8 beeps while boot. blank screen only 8 beeps. external monitor works but with display problem.
no distortion in BIST.
pls guide.
could it be because of virus ?

The 8 beep diagnostic code represents a failed/defective LCD and will need to be replaced. You can purchase an LCD through Dell Spare Parts by calling 1-877-717-3355 US. You can also visit the website below.
