N5110 BIOS Problem While Installing Windows 7 OR 8
Dear Sir,
This is Hardosh Kumar,
I changed laptops Hard Disk, and When I am trying to Instal Windows 7 or 8, after completion of Installation, When windows goin to setup Desktop, It show error in blue screen and shows error that Update BIOS, but I already have updated BIOS Version A11. I tried to update BIOS with A11 message is appearing can not flash BIOS with same version. I need to install Windows 7.
Kindly suggest me What should I have to do.
Before changing of Hard disk, I was using Windows 7.

Hi Hardosh Kumar,
This appears to be a software issue, please post the pictures of the Bluescreen that appears. Then we can check and see what can be done.

Hi Hardosh,
Apologies for the delayed response and thank you for sending the picture of the error.
This looks like an issue with the BIOS so please try updating BIOS using the below link:
http://dell.to/1lWy5O1
Input the service tag, click on drivers & downloads and download BIOS under BIOS tab.

Sorry for late reply.
I tried too many times to update bios with N5110A11. But as I already had updated BIOS. So it is showing an error that, BIOS can not flash because already have updated BIOS. please help me to resolve this issue. I am in trouble.

The BIOS update is a firmware update this means that once you have updated it, it remains updated even if you reinstall your Operating system. It is at A11 so you cannot update it.

Ok, and I am aware of that Sir, but suggest me what should I have to do? I changed my Laptops Hard Drive, So Windows 7 and 8 are asking for updated BIOS but I already have updated BIOS.
Please suggest me solution for that problem, I need to install windows 7.
