Hi Chris,

To find a drive for a certain system, I simply search the system name + DVD drive. Here are the results I got. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the info, osprey.

I've done that, and come up with model numbers I figure are correct, models that I know aren't correct, and some that I don't know if they'll work or not.

It's just my lack of experience on this type of optical drive. I find drives that indicate they'll work in my machine, yet they aren't slot load, they have a slide out tray. So, even if the ad indicates it'll work for my machine, AND it has a slide out try, not slot load, will it work? I don't think so, but I don't really know.

I'll keep digging.

EDIT: I found & bought a new one for $27 shipped on ebay. Here's a link in case it'll help somebody looking for the same thing. http://www.ebay.com/itm/261803056046?_trksid=p2054900.m570.l4467&_trkparms=gh1g%3DI261803056046.N19.S2.M-1.R1.TR3

Thanks!

Chris

Yes, either the slot load or tray load will work.

Let me know if that Ebay deal works for you.

Success!

That new drive I ordered off ebay is an exact fit, and solved my problem.
