Keep Sound on remote computer?

Question Keep Sound on remote computer?

Is there any way to configure PocketCloud so that sound is played on the remote PC and not streamed to the client running PocketCloud?

On Windows 7 using the build in remote desktop program you could configure the connection for 'Remote audio playback' -> 'Play on remote computer'. I would like to have the same configuration on my iPad but none of the RDP applications seems to offer this option.

Yes, you can go to the settings screen within PocketCloud on your iPad, under RDP Performance Tuning, move the Sound slider all the way to the right side and it will display "Sound: On Remote Machine". This setting will make it so the sound is played on your remote computer instead of your iPad.

No problem and as of right now, unfortunately there is no way to get it for free. That might be something cool to have available in the future for Dell customers. =]

Thanks, but this seems not to be available in the free version of PocketCloud. But if I buy the premium app and it does not work as expected, PocketCloud stays completely useless for me.

My apologies, yes the option is only available on the Pro version of the application. This should be just what you are looking for. If you are not happy after purchasing the application, you can process a refund through the App store.

Many thanks. I will consider to buy this app since it seems to be the only one with this feature.
There is no way to get this app for free by buying several DELL-PC's for our University?   Just ordered a bunch of Optiplex.

Thanks,
