N4030 Fixed HDD not detected

REPLACED with new HDD WD WD7500BPKK

Power on the computer and as soon as you power it on start tapping the F2 key FIXED HDD showing NONE

issue resolved

insert new HDD in HP laptop and install WINDOWS 7 reinserted in DELL N4030 HDD detected  and working fine

I am getting disk spin sound ,but it not dected and new hard is advance format, kindly confirm advance format is support for n4030

Double check that the drive is seated correctly.  If possible, test to see if it spins up in another system (you can use a desktop if you have one - SATA drives all use the same connectors, desktop or notebook).

If the drive does not  spin up and is not recognized by the other system, it's likely DOA.

If it does spin up in the test system but not in the notebook, it sounds like there's something wrong with the mainboard rather than the hard drive.

What happened to the original hard drive?

Not detected where? Do you have the most up to date version of the Intel RST?

Ensure the drive is firmly connected to the mainboard.  If it is, and isn't showing up, you've a bad mainboard.
