Dell PowerEdge 2950 II Twin Dual Core and Vmware esxi 5.5
hI,
I'm looking to buy to buy a Dell Server to implement a home lab with vmware Esxi 5.5. I found a nice offer on ebay about the server in object "Dell PowerEdge 2950 II Twin Dual Core".
Someone can tell me if this server has full compatibility with vmWare Esxi 5.5

Yes, it will work just fine. Just make sure to update all the firmware before installing ESXi and use the Dell version:

you gave the link for the:

but i need to run the vMware ESXi 5.5, i follow a course about it and i would like to make a bit experience on real HW.
Is really har dto find information. I looked on vmware compatibily list and it does not exist Dell Poweredge 2950 II Twin Dual Core but only Dell Poweredge 2950 III with xeon....so i'm a bit worried

There is no difference between the II and III that would make it incompatible or not work. It will be fine.
