XPS 8700, USB Ports Issue
Apologies for digging up this ancient post, but I seem to have a similar issue with my XPS 8700 - at startup USB devices are powered, but once I reach the OS login screen they have no power anymore, hence no way to log in.
It happens with all USB ports on Linux and Windows 10. Recent drivers are installed for both OS.

Do the keyboard lights go off once it gets to Windows login screen? In other words, is the keyboard losing power or just not being recognized by Windows?
Is this wired or wireless keyboard?
