Partitioned hard drive.

Question

When I set up my GX200/MT I partitioned the hard drive because I had another computer in the past that someone partitioned and I was able to use one part for programs and the other for storage of files and music, etc.  I thought it would then have a drive C: and a drive D: as part of the hard drive and give my CD Rom the E: drive and so on.  Instead, I have now only partial use of my hard drive (a very small amount of the 10 GB) so I keep running out of disk space.  I know you have heard this before.  I would really like to get the same sort of configuration again if I could as it was very handy.  Can anyone help me set this up without having to format the HD and reload everything again?  Also, I am running Windows XP.  I have the disc but it sounds like it is a one time deal.  Is that true?

Just wanted to let someone who may read this know that the problem with my partitioned hard drive was fixed and very easily I might add.  In the XP Home edition of Windows there is a place to find and set up the 'missing sector' of the hard drive after it is partitioned.  I did not have to format my C: drive or lose any of my data and go through the task of reloading everything.  It took about 5 minutes to do and then just had to wait another 5 minutes for that sector to format so it would be ready to go.  Now, I would love to tell you how to do this, but was following the directions of the tech I talked to on the phone.  Just thought there may be someone out there who would like to know.
