Windows 8 Pro Build 9200 - unable to detect wireless network

Hi,

Due to suspected malware/adware/software infections on my laptop and the fonts changing on my menu options in file and internet exploer, I took the decision to restore my insprion 3521 to factory settings.

It appears Windows 8 Pro Build 9200 has now been installed but it is unable to detect my wireless network. Now I imagine this is due to the network card being corrupted or disabled. How do I solve this ?

Do I download all the drivers and updates for my laptop on my desktop pc and then transfer them over to the laptop and that will fix the issue ?

any advice appreciated ?

Habib.

You can see if reinstalling the driver will resolve the issue. If needed you may need to do a complete reinstall of the OS.  You can download the drivers on another computer and then install them on the 3521. Click the link below to download drivers
