Dell Inspiron R15 N5110 drivers on Windows 10

Hello,

With this post I would like to clarify if there is a solution for the USB 3.0 drivers on Windows 10 for my laptop? During the last two years had upgraded my laptop from windows 7, then to windows 8 and 8.1 and at latest to Windows 10. After the first upgrade to windows 10, USB 3.0 ports were working (with some faults, but at least sometimes working). Always were using the USB 3.0 driver from the dell support page for windows 7. Since the newest version of windows 10 is now installed, the driver became not compatible with windows 10. I know, that the technologies are moving always forward, but it is sad that the 4 years laptop may loose such simple funcions, when it is still may cover my needs.

IKSXSAS,

I have the same computer as my personal computer. I also ran into issues with no windows 10 drivers. I reinstalled Windows 7 back on the computer. It runs much better with Windows 7. Unfortunately, Dell will not be creating any Windows 10 drivers for this system.

Well, I do not think, that there is no solution, to make the driver compatible. Maybe somebody else has a solution?

Are  Dell company will keep this problem?

I used Dell inspiron N5110 Core I7 2670QM with 8 G ram approximately for 5 years, and I feel good with it

so should we stop buying Dell products because of that fault,
