dell XPS 15 (9550) cant connect to WiFI -FIXED

Hi ,

Today my network adapter (dell 1830) stopped connecting to my home network.

every time I try to connect it says can't connect to this network. other computers in the house, phones, media players etc can connect to the network.

I have re-installed drivers on network adapter, reset network in windows. It appears to be an issue with the dell, I tried to connect it to my phones hotspot and it would not connect even with no security.

I have tried everything on this page

http://windowsreport.com/windows-10-cant-connect-this-network/

any Ideas??

Hi,

Thank you for writing to us!

Kindly boot the system into BIOS ,please check if the wireless card in detected .

Kindly provide us with the service tag and email address as this could be a hardware failure .

Thanks
