"No storage controllers detected." in OMSA
We have a server
Model : R730xd
OS : ESX 5.5
OM vib version installed on host 8.4
Storage Controller : PERC H730P Mini (Embedded)
OMSA installed on Windows 2012r2 VM with version 8.4
All firmware has been updated to the latest.
The problem : If you login to OMSA to this host, it shows "No storage controllers detected."
I haven't been able to find any useful information on what the cause may be.
Any help will be appreciated.

As this is a 13G server this might also be relevant to this issue:
ESXi 5.5 stability or performance issues when using PERC 9 on PowerEdge Servers

In other situations this message usually means the following:
1. The server is off.
2. You may need to refresh OMSA services for it to give you more up to date information.
3. You may need to reset your idrac.

Try these:
restart omsa services
racadm raceset
If above steps dont fix the issue, power drain.
