What touchpad does XPS 13 9360 have?

I was heard on some forums saying the touchpad driver on dell xps 13 can be downloaded from synaptics website. I tried those drivers before my touchpad was broken. It worked but not that precise.

I also used to configure two fingre/three touching on Elan and alps touchpads.

So my question is, do all xps 13 9360 laptop use synaptics touchpad, or some other brand?

Hi,

Thank you for writing to us!

If checked on the Dell site and searched using the service tag of the system and not the system model,

Kindly private message the service and email address so that we can also check and try to get the accurate drivers for the system.

As fare the synaptics touchpad utility is a generic driver and may not be system specific.

Hi, thanks for the reply.

This driver is actually the one that disabled my laptop. It runs in win8.1 and the model number is different. Don't suggest this firmware to anybody else using the 9360 or other model, because it will disable theirs.
