Add USB3.0 card to T430
I added a card to add more USB3 ports to my T430 and it appears to cause random system crashes and reboots. It is a powered card from inateck: 7-Port USB 3.0 PCI-E Card KTU3FR-5O2U
Are there any "approved" USB3.0 cards for the t430?

No.
I would suggest that you review the PCIe specifications of the server and the requirements for the card. Most of our servers do not provide more than 25w of power on a PCIe slot. A USB 3.0 card is likely going to need more power than that.
