XPS 15 9550 wifi card problems

The wifi card I have, the dell wireless 1830, keeps dropping the network connection. I went to the Dell website and updated all my drivers, but now the problem seems even worse. How do I fix  this

Below are some steps for resolving the wifi issues on your laptop.

Method 1: Reset TCP/IP Stack and auto tuning

Click Start menu and type Command Prompt. Right click Command Prompt and choose to Run as administrator
Type the command NETSH INT IP RESET C:\RESTLOG.TXT in the appearing black window
Press Enter key to execute the command
On the following line type the command NETSH INT TCP SET HEURISTICS DISABLED and hit Enter
Type NETSH INT TCP SET GLOBAL AUTOTUNINGLEVEL=DISABLEDand hit Enter
Type the command NETSH INT TCP SET GLOBAL RSS=ENABLED and hit Enter

Method 2: Wi-Fi power option

Click Start and search for Network and Sharing Center
In this window, choose your Wi-Fi network and the Wi-Fi Status screen will appear.
Click the Properties button near the lower left corner to open another window.

In Wi-Fi Properties window, click on the button titled Configure.
Go to the Power Management tab; uncheck the following option and click OK button.
Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power

Method 3: Reinstall the adapter

Click Start and type "Device Manager" in the search box. Click Device Manager
Locate Network Adapters and expand the menu
Locate your network adapter and select Uninstall.
Once removed, right-click again on Network Adapters and select Scan for hardware changes.
The adapters will be rediscovered and when the drivers are loaded back, the devices will re-appear in Network Connections.
Please restart and try again. Restart is a must.
