Need Driver but it seems not to be at the Dell site

I have a Dell Latitude E6400 I bought refurbished a few years ago.  It came with  Win7 on it and I upgraded it to Win10 as soon as Win10 was available.  Everything run good.  But my HD failed and I put a new HD in.

I need a driver for the Broadcom USH but Dell's Drivers and Downloads site fails to find this driver. Of course Windows does not have it either.  The Device Manager lists this as an "Other device"

Do I need this device?

Dell source Tag Number ..........S/N  .

Can you help me?

You need the Dell ControlVault driver.  If you haven't already, go to support.dell.com and then do NOT enter your Service Tag.  Instead, click "Choose from all products" and select your PC model.  Sometimes entering a Service Tag hides downloads that do in fact apply for your system.

Your Service Tag number does not exist.

Thanks iphughan, all is working good now. My device manager shows all is well.

Does anyone know how to save all my drivers to one of my external HD's?  Are all the drivers in the same folder in Windows 10?

Yes but that is the tag II copied from the back of my laptop and also the Tag that was found when I pushed the button to let Dell look in my computer to find the Tag.  I figured that I found someone's sense of humor.

I usually prefer to save the download packages from Dell in a folder, especially since sometimes those drivers include application packages that aren't recognized as a formal part of the driver itself but are still useful/necessary.  But if you ever want/need to extract drivers out of your actual system, there's an amazing (and free!) tool called Double Driver that will do what you're looking for.
