Want to buy a Windows 2000 Professional Reinstallation CD for an Inspiron 8200
I purchased my I8200 with Windows XP last fall thinking I would never need Win2K. I now have a software development contract that requires Windows 2000 (Windows XP is not allowed on the network).
I've called Dell Customer Support and was told they are no longer available. I'm aware that I can use a retail version then down load drivers but I would really like the original Dell CD. Does anyone kinow where I can find one?

It's the same thing as a regular OEM disk. Don't worry B)
I can give you the EXACT differences from a regular disk to a dell disk :P

The only Dell customizations are:
1) Removed BOOTDISK folder
2) Dell BIOS checker added
That's all.
SOURCE: Errr check ebay. There are a lot more dell cd's or so I heard

I have just seen your posting. Did you manage to get hold of DELL Windows 2000 Pro? You can get one on Amazon.com or email stanley.greenaway@virgin.net Do both, I'll be happy to help. Plenty available bundled with hardware, drivers and utilities CD.

Thanks for the reply; I acquired a copy shortly after the last post. I found it on eBay. As it turns out, there were plenty available, but very few with the COA. Fortunately, I was able to acquire what I needed.
