M17x capable of this?
I wish to use my m17x as a screen for my xbox 360 but also want to still be able to hear the sounds from the actual laptop (ie skype, chrome, etc). Any possible way of having this work?

i wouldnt imagine that it would work both at the same time , as the audio will be directed from the xbox 360 . maybe you could switch on notifications ?
