Alienware M17x R4 problem in suspend/hibernate mode

Hello everybody, I've seen people with similar problems but non of them is like mine and nor the solutions have worked for me.

My problem is that when I put my system into hibernate mode, sleep mode or suspend mode (using fn+suspend from the keyboard) my computer fails to achieve this, What happens is that the screen turns off but the lights form the keyboard doesn't  and they remain like that for a few minutes, after a while the whole computer turns off and when i try to restore the system it shows me the screen about a incorrectly shut down with the options of safe mode, etc. I try to restore in normal mode and it works every time but I am afraid this issue is going to completely crash my system at any moment.  I never experienced something like this in my previous laptops but this one is my first alienware, I have solve some other issues like the one related to the alien fusion service.

This suspend problem have been happening since I bought the computer from time to time but lately it happens very often. My drivers are up to date as well as the windows updates. Hope somebody can help me. Here are my system details:

GPU: Geforce GTX 675M

CPU: i7 3610QM

Memory:  12GB RAM

Driver version (GPU): 332.21

OS:  Microsoft windows 7 professional

Hello Juansystem!

Have you tried to uninstall the video card driver and reinstall the latest version?

HI Milena

Is it the same as reinstall the drivers? if yes, I did, also my Nvidia Geforce experience tells me I have the lastest drivers, I just check today.

regards!

Try the latest one from DELL.com as well as the Intel's card driver.
