banasko:

Are you sure the Cineplayer software is compatible with Windows XP? Other customers seem to have better luck with Intervideo's WinDVD and CyberLink's PowerDVD.

Dell shipped my 7500 with Cineplayer and the XP installation sends me to their site for a $30 upgrade. Is there an alternative? Has anyone confirmed this upgrade works?

I have a 7500 (380mb RAM, 500Mhz) with XP installed. I did download cineplayer with mixed results -- it more or less works, but it is dropping frames at present so i have jerky video. Perhaps somebody knows how to speed it up?
