Your rant may or may not be justified, but you have posted in the wrong forum section. Try the video section if you want assistance. But in any case it's not a DVD issue, it's either your video hardware, cabling to the TV or a setup issue with the video.
If you repost in an appropriate forum section, include your PC Model and Operating System, this will allow someone to give you assistance relative to your system rather than a guess or general assistance.
