PowerEdge R720: no boot device available using RAID5
I was having a blue screen with STOP error:0x0000003B and kl1.sys on my windows Server 2008 and after all my research i updated my bios from 2.2.2 to 2.5.4 and clear the even log, the blue screen still appearing. Finally a freind advice me to remove the disk and put it on Wondows 7 PC to make a backup, what i did by initializing this one of the 4 Disk of my RAID5.
Now i having a "No boot device available" eventhough the 4 disks are online.

Hello
Which RAID controller are you using? Unless you know exactly what you are doing it is a bad idea to move RAID disks between systems. The RAID controller writes data in a specific format on the disks. If any changes are made to the disk by a controller that does not write the same way then it can corrupt the data.
If you explain exactly what you did then someone may be able to help. Also, I would suggest exporting a controller/TTY log before doing anything else, if your controller supports logging. Only the last 10,000 lines are retained, older lines are overwritten.
Thanks

Hello,
I am using the integrated controller PERC H310 Mini. I removed the 4 drives configured on RAID5 expecting to make a backup on windows 7 Workstation and during the process i was asked to initialized the drive 0 and 2 what i did for only the drive 2.
