Wi-Fi Not Present - No Wi-Fi Networks - Driver Issues
Laptop: Inspiron 17 ( 5759). Service Tag : .
I've formatted and installed a new clean copy of windows 10 on my laptop but Windows won't detect my Wi-Fi card or networks for some reason.
I've installed all drivers in the right order, but when I kept saying " This software package cannot be installed" when I tried to install the Wi-FI driver.
Wi-Fi Driver: Intel-3160-7260-3165-7265-Wi-Fi-Driver_5TJF1_WIN_20.10.1.1190_A00
Installation Errors: 104 and 105.
any suggestions?

Then it sounds like there's a hardware issue of some kind. I'm not sure if that system has the same BIOS interface as the XPS I'm looking at right now, but on my system in the BIOS under General > System Information, if I scroll down I can see a Wi-Fi device listed. Do you show a device listed there, or anywhere else if you have a different interface?
If not, then I would start by removing and reseating the WiFi card in its motherboard slot. On some systems, the WiFi card slot is on a small daughter board that connects to the motherboard via a ribbon cable rather than the slot being built into the motherboard itself, in which case check that cable as well. Of course another possibility is that the card itself has gone bad, but that would be harder to test if you don't have another system to install it in or another WiFi card to test in that system.

Check Device Manager. Do you see it listed under Network adapters even with errors? If not, do you see any unknown/unrecognized devices listed? If so, open their properties, go to the Details tab, select the Hardware IDs dropdown, and post the VEN and DEV IDs here just to verify that you're installing the correct driver for that card. If you don't see this card listed under Network adapters OR any unrecognized devices, then that would mean your system for whatever reason isn't even seeing your WiFi card at all on a hardware level, in which case you'd have to troubleshoot that before dealing with any drivers.

There is no Wi-Fi installed under The Network Adopters it's pretty much just the Realtek PCIe PE controller and a bunch of WAN miniports. There isn't any unknown devices either.

Happy to help, even if the underlying cause isn't ideal. I'm not sure what WiFi card you had since the driver package you mentioned can be used on several versions, but you may want to upgrade if applicable since even top-end WiFi cards are very inexpensive. I don't know if your system uses an mPCIe card or M.2 card, but if it's the former, I would go with the Intel 7260HMW. If it's the latter, I would go with the Intel 8265. Hopefully everything works out!

I had bought the Intel AC 8260 before you posted the reply because I thought Its the most compatible hardware wise with my board, so will see how this goes.
