S2417DG, A0x revisions, new thread

I have heard people saying about revision for this monitor model. I am interested in this, too, but how do I check if the one I am buying is which revision before I buy or after I receive the product? Is there any designation in the SKU or Model number/code? What is the latest revision as of now?

You can check the box and the back of the monitor (maybe the base) for the revision designation. I have heard from Dell the latest revision was A03.  Two different people told me this on the phone when I called Dell customer service support.  Other people on the internet have claimed up to A08, bu that may or may not be the 27” latest revision.  I have seen no photos or other evidence proving this.  Best of luck to you.

If purchased new directly from Dell, the S/N A0x on the box will match the S/N A0x on the monitor. Re-sellers typically do not match them when re-boxing one of their returns and then re-selling them. I have seen reports of A09 on Reddit.
