Internet Explorer 9 Issues?

Has anyone else tried to access your SourceOne server using IE 9 on Windows 7?

The issue I'm having is when selecting Email > Date I'm not able to select "On" / "On or before" or On or After".  The drop down menu comes up but I can't select anything.

I've tried compatibility view but that does work either.  I've also added it as a trusted network with the same result.

Currently running Version: 6.6.0.1106

EMC Released the Version 6.7 of SourceOne Email Management.

I've read the new Compatibility Guide and i was really wondering that the new version 6.7 ins't support actuall Browser again.

The following i found in the compatibility Guide

For EMC SourceOne Email Management 6.7

The following Web browsers are supported for use with EMC SourceOne Web Search:

•On Microsoft Windows platforms:

- Microsoft Internet Explorer 8.0, any service pack

- Mozilla Firefox 3.6 to 4.0

•On Apple Mac OS X 10.4 or higher (such as 10.4.11 or 10.5), Mozilla Firefox 3.6 to 4.0

Is this really true. did anyone a test with the new Version. If this really true, i have to think about a other system.

Mike

6.7 is a point release to address a specific issue with email deleting in the European Market and as far as I know no other updates have been added.

I just installed 6.7 and ran a few basic tests.  Firefox 4 and 5 work so far, but IE 9 still does not work with 6.7.

Upgraded to 6.7

Chrome 12: FAILS (When clicking Add Criteria > Email > Subject receive the following error: "An error has occurred." and screen disapears)

FireFox 5: Seems to work 100% of what I try .

IE 9: FAILS (Can not select drop down box criteria)

As I understand it IE8 support was added not IE9.

Thank you for your answers

And this from a big company. In this case i can safe my time and i haven't to migrate to 6.7

I urgently need a product which is supporting actual browser.

Hopefully i will get the support of the browser asap. Otherwise i have really to look to a other product. The only part is, how can i migrate the stores to a other system.

Why isn't EMC able to build a version which is running with actual browser.

This is really ridiculous. IE9 was released almost a year ago and ther's still no support for it. This is really holding us back from implementing S1 in production. From the error message I got when testing, it seems like the culprit is some old (year 2007!!!) Ifragistics components, more info here http://community.infragistics.com/forums/t/54943.aspx. Solution is to upgrade to a newer version, and why EMC can't do this is beyond me.

FF 5.0.1 seems to work ok for me with S1 v.6.7, but that's one more software we have to maintain for our users. Hope to see solution soon.

I know how you feel. It's really hindered us from moving forward within implementing IE9 on our Windows 7 machines.  Perhaps it will be fully supported when IE 10 comes out.

Now that Firefox 6 is out, I'm not even going to try to upgrade and see if it works.  Also, according to Mozilla they are working on 7 and 8 for this year.

It may benefit EMC if they just write the web portion for S1 to be web standards compliant and them pass the buck to the browsers.

From initial testing looks like FF 6.0 works fine. Still testing, though.
