Prosphere 1.7 Performance Monitoring & Alerting of Cisco Trunks
Hi,
Can you please confirm whether Proshpere 1.7 has the capability to monitor and alert on IOPs and MB/s thresholds for Cisco Trunks. If not can you please confirm the capability that this functionality exists for ISLs only,

Hi Colin,
Alerts from Cisco switches will be included as part of the ProSphere 2.0 release which currently has a tentative release date for the end of April. I don't have any details on exactly what will be included but will update this forum post in due course once I have some further information closer to GA.

Just to let you know that Cisco alerts were added to ProSphere 2.0 which was released last week. Full details can be found in the ProSphere 2.0 Release Notes on EMC Online Support (https://support.emc.com).
