Where can i find Control center 6.1 UB 12 support matrix

Hi All,

I am new to EMC CC and would need some inputs from you.

Where can i find Control center 6.1 UB 12 support matrix ? I am trying to install agents on

20 unix servers to get report from storage scope. The native installation requires root access to the unix servers.

Is there a sudo access or some path from where i can install the agent without root access?

Please share your comments.

Hi Keisham,

All ControlCenter documents can be found on either of the two site:

2. Within in the documentation section of the new Support by Product page https://support.emc.com/products/5690

The supported methods of installing the Master agents etc.. can be found in the Planning and Installation Guide Volume 1.

Review and read the following pages for all the information you require to install the Master agent:

"Step 14 Plan for Master Agents" and for supported deployment methods: page 70/71
Local deployment on AIX, HP-UX, Linux, or Solaris with scripts, using the procedure in “Deploy the Master Agent on UNIX (Command Line)/Deploy the Master Agents with Sudo” on page 360 to 367.
Local deployment on AIX, HP-UX, Linux, or Solaris using Native Tools. See Appendix Appendix G, “Using Native Tools to Install and Uninstall Agents,” for more information. Page 489 to 509
