VSS Plugin

Hi, I´m new to Avamar.

We are using it to backup Exchange 2010 databases.

We are experiencing Timed Out bebore Ending issues.

And the VSS pluging is who cancel the backup:

          avtar info <7061>: Canceled by '3018-Exchange VSS Writer 2007' Exiting...

Where is located the VSS log file? so I can check why the VSS cancellation, space, network, client, etc.

The message "Timed Out-End" appears if a backup exceeds the backup window configured for the client. I'd recommend you review the schedule for this client and either start it sooner or allow it to run longer (if possible). If this is an initial backup, you may wish to change the "overtime" setting to allow the client to run overtime until it completes a successful backup.

Do you know if the VSS plugin creates a LOG file? with information about starting and ending times, success or error status,  issues, etc.

By default, you will find the logs in C:\Program Files\avs\var\clientlogs on Windows systems.
