Temporary File Path requirement for itempoint for sharepoint

Hi All ,

want to know about the abovementioned .  have a few questions :

1)  if we have a sharepoint 2016 backup to data domain , and we are using itempoint for GRT ,  what the the size requirement for the temproray file path  ?

2) if the sharepoint datasize is about 1TB ,  do we need to allocate the same size for the temporary file path ?

3) how this GRT work , does it actually restore the data to a temporary location or just mount the sharepoint data from the data doamin ?
