In one shop I've seen DVD-RW and in the other I've seen DVD-SMulti.

The Dell specs only list DVD/CD RW drive. But ordering options and custom models for sale by retail vendors (e.g Best Buy, Sam's Club, etc) can vary from what is the basic model or options for sale on the web site.
