This has nothing to do with my service code. The Dell pop up ad was planted inside that last Dell update. It was never there before. Simple solution, remove it and re-update.
Dell, if you are reading this please do the following.
Have one program that will remove ALL software and adds installed by Dell that ONLY will be used to purchase additional software. Or at least, disable them from popping up adds etc...... It is exasperating to hunt down all the software that is unsolicited.
If you're using Windows 10 you can block notification (All settings/system/notifications & actions) you can block all or individual programs from sending notifications.
