dell xps 13 2in1 7390 wake up in tablet mode

I turn it over and use it in tablet mode. Which means keyboard and touchpad not in used. However when it goes to sleep. How do I wake it up ? Do i have to turn into laptop mode and touch any keys on keyboard to wake it up ?

> press Win+I to open the Settings app, Click on Devices.

> Now on the left side you will see Typing. Click on it.

> Scroll down and under Touch keyboard settings, you will see Automatically show the touch keyboard when not in tablet mode and there’s no keyboard attached to your device.

> You will see that the default is ‘Off’. Toggle the button to the ‘On’ position.

This should help you resolve the issue.

Can you explain how this solution solves the problem?? When the XPS13 2-in-1 in in Tablet mode and is powered down or in sleep mode, how does the on-screen keyboard help to turn the computer back on??!!

Hi, I have the same problem. Can you explain further how this is a solution please?

In tablet mode with the keyboard facing the table I can't wake up the computer nor access the touch keyboard.

Thanks

Hi.

Did you even read the question? I don't see how your solution answers the question at all.

The issue is that when the laptop is in tablet mode, it can't be woken up if it falls asleep. Is there a way to do that? At the moment, it has to be folded back into a laptop format and the power button pressed.
