Screen randomly turning black
I just recently bought a new dell xps 15 and it sometimes just randomly gets a black screen and I need to start the screen again. Anyone got an idea how I can fix this issue?

Please post the exact model of your system. And a screen that goes black could be a number of problems. Inasmuch as the system is new, I would suggest calling Dell tech support. An issue like that needs to be addressed before the warranty expires. It could be a bad cable for your display screen or a screen issue. However have a look at this site for more information. At any rate give Dell a call and they can assist you.

Do you have your system set to hibernate or sleep at a certain time? Go into Power and Sleep Options and check the options listed and set them all to never or whichever option you prefer. Next click on Advanced Power Settings on right side of the screen. Click each heading on the right and change the settings to your preferences.
