XPS 8910, Intel XTU, how much push?
XPS 8910, Windows 10 Home
i7-6700 (not K ) 3.40GHz turbo 3.98GHz
Yes, I can change the core clock and see it modify instantly. Now running Intel XTU (Intel Extreme Tuning Utility) core 100.6 MHz and 4016 Mhz MAX cpuid-z to check
home much push ?

looks like max is around 4.2ghz but I will play it safe and go up slowly
I am going to keep the stock cooler for now

Be sure to keep eye on CPU temps with something like Speccy or HWMonitor, both free.
Speccy can put an icon in the notification area of the taskbar showing the temp continuously, which can be very useful. HWMonitor doesn't do that (or maybe I just can't figure out how to make HWM do that!).

XTU is working but no memory overclocking?
i7-6700 no K
Currently 4045 max cpu Speed 101.5 MHz Core Clock 75'C max cpu Temp

8910 does not support overclocking.
