Aurora R7, AW510K Keyboard woes

Needed a new keyboard for my R7 and liking Alienware i opted for the Alienware 510K. Great keyboard but the software i have to say is annoying. Does not matter what order i install or uninstall things in (and i have tried for days) the only way i can control the lighting is through the new version of the command centre that does not include thermal controls.

The command centre shipped with the R7 and updated simply does not see the new keyboard.

Anyone with any ideas would be appreciated. Thank you.

The new keyboard has a separate driver required before it "sees" the keyboard.  Uninstall Awcc and reboot then install the driver and reboot then install awcc.

DELL is simply dishonest about the improper assembly of the Aurora R7 desktop.  I suggest you toss the keyboard and purchase  NON-DELL keyboard.  Watch it work fine -- as mine does.  The keyboard that comes with the R7 is a total pile of , for sure.

Here is my Dell R7 horror story:  The video port covered up with a piece of metal was the oddest absurdity I've ever seen in a brand new factory desktop.  While I haven't had keyboard issues (luckily I purchased a generic back-lit keyboard from eBay for a few dollars -- it works great), but I have had monitor issues, constantly.

I initially dumped my entire budget into the Aurora R7 with 32g of RAM.  Instead of buying a new monitor, I connected the desktop to a flatscreen tv via HDMI.  This worked fine.  This year, I purchased a brand new DELL P2418HT Monitor (touch screen), and there have been issues with each windows update.

After each update, the monitor no longer recognizes a signal from the pc.  I learned through the community that a cold restart (unplug power for a few minutes) usually helps.  While this solved the problem for awhile, it stopped solving the problem after my last update.  The monitor works fine, connected to any other PC.  The R7 works fine, connected to any other monitor (via HDMI).  DELL replies that my service tag is expired, as if I broke my computer and need to pay someone for help.  This is  DELL BUG, similar to a RECALL on an auto part.  DELL should solve the bugs or compensate all of the consumers that were ripped off by R7 flaws.

If i may, why has this been tagged as the solution? This solution does not work for me on a Aurora R7 and a quick google tells me i am not the only one. Dells live "virtual Assistant" only asks me enough questions to establish my PC warranty is out of date when i am asking about a product i bought 2 weeks ago.
