B2360dn toner will not fit

This is the first time we tried to change out our toner.  We have tried two toner cart. and both will not insert all the way.  They are blocked by something on the right side, cannot see what is blocking it.

Thanks,

desmond

HEYDEZ,

Is your Toner for your printer from Dell? Below is information for removing/replacing the toner.

Replacing the toner cartridge
1 Press the button on the right side of the printer, and then open the front door.
2 Pull the toner cartridge out using the handle.
3 Unpack the toner cartridge, and then remove all packing materials.
4 Shake the new cartridge to redistribute the toner.
5 Insert the toner cartridge into the printer by aligning the side rails of the cartridge with the arrows on the side rails inside the printer. Warning—Potential Damage: Do not expose the imaging unit to direct light for more than 10 minutes. Extended exposure to light may cause print quality problems.

I have this same issue. The toner imaging unit will not fit. It is being blocked by something on the right after I slide it in following the arrows. The door will not shut.

This has happened to me from time to time.  The strange thing is that the toner will fit with some drums with no problem.  When I had to replace the drum, the toner would not go all the way in on the right side.  I just kept trying a few times.  I think the drum has a spring on the right side that the toner pushes up or back.  Once this happens, the toner goes in all the way.  I wonder what Dell has to say about this.

I had the same problem. So I taped back the little door on the right of the drum (where the right side of the toner would not fit properly) and then the toner went right in perfectly. Apparently, that little latch on that door was not going back so the toner could fit in properly.  Even my printer tech could not figure it out.
