precision 7920, try to add SSD SATA 2.5", 2TB using flex bay, But it is not recognized.
Hello all,
I have a precision 7920 tower workstation. To upgrade storage, I added SAMSUNG SSD SATA 2.5", 2TB using flex bay (low row), But it is not recognized on the system. Any suggestions, please?

Be sure:
- the SSD is completely blank and un-initialized.
- normally initially appears in BIOS first
- must use Window's Disk Management to detect, initialize, partition and format drive before use
Maybe try direct connection to on-board SATA port instead of Flex-Bay.
