Lets start with a driver issue; click on the CD/RW link in my post and scroll to Section 15, article 1; Section 20, article 3; Section 11, articles 2 & 1. Section 12, article 3 from Dell-Stephen. Lastly, select Downloads under Product Support Tab above, enter information for your system and follow the links, Dell has a firmware update for this under "Removeable Media Storage Devices"
