System just freezing up is a pretty broad description of the problem. If you are unable to turn on your computer please describe what lights are coming on on the front and the back of the machine.

Well actually, just before I checked this post, I did look again to the back of the computer. I did see those ABC lights but I saw the the A+B was in orange while the C+D were in green. I think that this has to do with somehting but not sure what this really means.

Well my motherboard looks normal (as in the lights and all) when I start up my computer. When I do start it up, my keyboard's lights would flash on but then the lights would go away. (monitor seems to not respond at all) Could there be sum electrical problem with the extra accessories? (mouse, monitor..etc) This is pretty much all I can say. I really hope someone can help. thank you for your response

That indicats a memory failure. You should probably call dell technical support if your system is still under waranty.

The light on the front of your monitor, does it come on? Check the cable connections on the back of the monitor. Also there are 4 little lights on the back of the machine labeled ABCD, check to see if they are all green. The more info the better.
