Hard Drive Question

Question

I have an Optiplex GX-150 with WIN98SE.  I reformatted the HD with a logical driv/extended drive partition.  Everything runs great except my 4GB partition can't be read.  Using FDISK it shows as D: Drive with 4 GB but when I try to access it, by various methods, I get a 'Unable to read disk' error message.   It is formatted with FAT32 but no system installed.  Can anyone please offer some advice.  Appreciate it.  Thanks.   Steve

Thank you for visiting the Dell Community Forum.

You may want to try using FDISK to remove the partition in question and then reconfigure and format the partition and see if it can then be accessed.
