So I have been happily using my VP 11 Pro (Atom) with the travel keyboard for a few years now and it suddenly started going shoddy on me.

What will happen is that after a few minutes (usually 2-5 but occasionally shorter) the whole keyboard will stop responding. The touchpad and touchpad will not work and the CAPS lock LED will not light up however the second battery still functions and the tablets knows it's connected because if you disconnect the Win 10 popups about going into tablet mode come up.

I suspected this was a driver issue despite having applied the power saver changes a while ago, however the registry hacks were still intact.

I decided to try with the slim keyboard and the same thing happened.

I uninstalled all the keyboard related devices and let them reinstall and the same issue.

To ultimately test it I booted into the BIOS and guess what... still happens...

So it doesn't look like it's a keyboard issue since it happens with both keyboards, it's not a windows issue since it happens in bios and it seems to be getting worse as originally I used to be able to fix it pretty reliably by undocking and redocking. It seems to happen more often and is less reliably fixed by doing this.

So it seems like it's something with the tablet itself but as far as I can tell all the contacts are still making contact just fine with the pogo pins, I have run a pencil eraser over all the contacts on both sides to try and clean them off but that didn't seem to make any difference.

Anyone got any ideas as to what might be causing this or even better yet how to trouble shoot it?

This is the original Atom 5130 I believe.

Thanks
