Consolidate backups to one Datadomain / Replication to identical node

Hi there,

we´re currently having a setup of one Avamar-Node connected to three different Datadomain-Units and want to consolidate all that backup stuff to one new DD6800.

The most easiest way of doing an mtree-replication won´t work due to the three different mtrees of three different systems I guess.

I was wondering if there´s any other way of achieving this - as all backups will expire within the next 12 months, it would be sufficient if we would do a "local replication" for example (so set up the Avamar-Node as target for itself and set the new dd6800 as default replication target). Backups would then only be visible under /Replicate but as this is only for limited time, it would be acceptable.

However if I try to set up such a scenario, the job is failing with an (expected) error "source and destination servers are identical. Use --checkservers=false to force replication - But even if I set that checkservers=false in the advanced options of the replication set, I still get the same error. Any ideas about that?

Thanks
Markus
