I just (JULY 28,2014) received a call from 856-2314 (no area code).

Man of claimed to be from DELL and that they (tech dept.) were receiving warnings at DELL that someone is trying to access my computer (hack into it).

After asking me to enter "eventvwr", he let me see all the warnings and errors to scare me into - get this now:

He now wanted me to allow him to remotely access my computer so he could fix my issues for me. As I declined, he proceeded to say that the call was recorded and that DELL would hold no responsibility in my refusal to allow the "fix".
