Sudoer's with Dell OME
All,
I've been working towards setting up OME to manage our hardware environment. One problem I've come across when testing pushing out updates is that when it asks for a Username/Password, the check mark that says "Use Sudo" doesn't seem to work as I intended. It seems to be expecting that the user i'm using has NOPASSWD set.
When i attempt to use my own account, which is in a group defined as "ALL=(ALL) ALL" it just returns
sudo: dpruitt : a password is required ; TTY=pts/1 ; PWD=/home/dpruitt ; USER=root ; COMMAND=/opt/dell/srvadmin/bin/omexec omreport system progress updateid=1722192024 -fmt xml
which shows it failing the sudo...
Am I doing something wrong? Or does OME require an account that has NOPASSWD?
Thanks
Denny
